🎯 OKR Template Generator
One Objective, up to three Key Results, one quarter. Runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
OKRs pair a qualitative Objective with measurable Key Results — see OKRs vs. KPIs for how that differs from a KPI.
Objective
What do you want to be true by the end of this period? Keep it qualitative and ambitious.
Quarter / period
What time period does this cover?
Key results
How will you measure whether the objective happened? Numbers, not tasks.
To track it, open GoalTracker, use the upload icon in the header and pick the .json file — each key result becomes a subgoal — or break a key result into steps first with the goal planner.
How to write a good OKR
The objective says where you want to be and should be worth getting excited about. Key results are the numbers that prove you got there, like "grow weekly active users from 200 to 500". A to-do such as "launch the new page" is a task, not a key result.
Fill in the objective, the period and at least one key result, and the tool shows your OKR ready to copy. Most teams write one to three key results per objective and check them at the end of the quarter. Nothing is saved on this page, so copy or download your OKR before you close the tab.
